Monkey Business

When it comes to bringing animals on public transport, there are certain rules and protocols you must follow. The main danger of bringing an animal into a large enclosed public situation like that is the potential that it could attack someone else on their commute.

But there is nothing about this baby monkey that is leading us to believe that it could potentially hurt anyone, especially because it is getting fed a bottle. And everyone knows that feeding time is the most important time. Still, it is strange that someone has a monkey on the train and is feeding it nonetheless.

Deciding to get your portrait done is a very personal decision and one that takes a lot of time and money. You want to make sure that whoever does your portrait manages to depict your sense of self and persona through the canvas. Most importantly, you need to give your consent before someone starts drawing.

I’m a Cool Bunny

When it comes to our pets, we love dressing them up from time to time in different outfits and with different accessories. Some people find this strange, but if your pet doesn’t find it frustrating, then we say that there is nothing wrong with a change of outfit here and there.

And this bunny seems to be as cool as a cucumber in his cute little get-up. There is just something so funny about seeing animals dressed in things meant for humans. The fact that this bunny is wearing sunglasses and a little scarf is too much for the brain to handle.

One of the golden rules about taking public transportation is that at the very least, you need to be wearing clothes. Sharing such an intimate space with complete strangers is already a daunting concept without the added awkwardness of seeing someone shirtless…

And perhaps that is all that is going on in this train ride, but either the whole “I’m a shirtless Santa Claus” thing isn’t really what people want to see on their commute home from work.

There is nothing quite like the holiday season. No matter where you look there are decorations everywhere and fun-loving holiday vibes almost everywhere you look! So when people take it upon themselves to get dressed up and build up momentum around the holidays, it makes everything more fun.

We’re not sure if this get-up is for a specific festival or holiday, but we are loving it. The guy next to him on the train is either having a little chuckle to himself about how flamboyantly dressed this man is, or he is just really enjoying his snack.

Going For a Walk

If you ever feel like you are missing that extra bit of strangeness in your life, we guarantee an hour on the subway will bring that missing thing back into your life. The craziest thing is seeing people do, wear, or be very outlandish, but potentially never find out why they did it in the first place. Now that’s what we call mystery…

This would definitely count as the first time we have ever seen someone take a piece of fruit for a walk on a leash whilst being on the train. We’re sure there is some explanation for this because there is no way that this person is genuinely taking a pineapple for a walk, is there?

Extra Warmth

When it comes to seeing animals on public transport, the most common would be the dog. There are many people that actually need their dogs for assistance, but also just regular people travel with their dogs all over town with the help of a muzzle and public transport.

But whoever said that cats couldn’t join the party too? This cat can be seen snuggling at its owner’s neck, all wrapped around, nice and tight. We can only assume that this cat is meant to be on a leash, but there is something so unnatural about seeing a cat of all things, tied to a leash.

Runaway Christmas Tree

Christmas is one of the most joyful times of the year where you get to spend time with family and friends. not only that but all of the streets and shopping malls are decorated with lots of decorations just to give that extra special Christmas feel.

And although it isn’t completely uncommon to see Christmas decorations on public transport, something like this is a little out of character. This Christmas tree-man looks like he is on the run from something or somebody, and we have got to get to the bottom of this Christmas mystery.

Duck, Duck, Goose

Having a pet is all fun and games until you realize you have to account for them when you are at work, which is most of the time. Depending on the animal, you can’t just leave them at home in your apartment. Animals need to go outside for walks, to be relieved, and to also interact with other animals and people.

We’re not sure what kind of special attention a duck needs, but apparently they can’t stay at home either. We aren’t sure what the weirdest thing about this picture is… Is it the fact that there is a special backpack to carry ducks? Or is the fact that she is willingly wearing white crocs?

There are certain times of the year when it is normal for people in society to dress up in costume. These social cues are important to document because otherwise, you might come across someone dressed up in an extravagant costume and have no idea what is happening.

We can only assume that this person is dressed up as some scary thing because it is Halloween. Then again, we have no idea what this person’s motives are… We just hope that they aren’t planning on going around scaring people. At least the person next to them isn’t freaked out…

There’s a Lion on the Train!

How many hawks have you seen in your lifetime? They aren’t really your everyday, classic bird that you see flying around your local park. So when you do spot one, it can feel like somewhat of a special occasion. Just remember to be careful, because they can be a little dangerous.

Well, apparently this man has his very own hawk and it also happens to be traveling with him on the train. From what we can tell, the bird looks pretty well behaved, but who’s to say that a freak accident won’t happen? We would hate to see something happen to the livelihood of the bird as a result of an altercation.

When it comes to traveling on public transport, you never know when you are going to come across your wildest ride. It could be because of seeing a strange animal, or even a strange outfit, but nothing could ever prepare you for seeing something quite like this…

For such an intricate costume, you would think that this particular thing is a character from somewhere… Not only is this kind of scary and creepy, but it is also a very impressive costume. The structural integrity of the head is rather impressive. Once again, the people on either side aren’t too bothered by this creature… Just your average Tuesday.

Thanksgiving is that one special time of year when Americans sit around the table with their loved ones and eat very specific foods. There isn’t a Thanksgiving spread that doesn’t consist of turkey, green beans, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes (in some way), and a pumpkin pie.

That’s a Different Way To Use The Handles

Depending on the time that you take public transport, you are either going to be lucky enough to get a seat, or you are going to have to stand the entire duration of your journey. Standing isn’t so bad considering that there are those rubber handles that you can grab onto if you need.

But then again, why hold onto these handles, when you can swing from them with your scooter? This little kid seems to have found the new, cool way to ride the train and all you need is a scooter, and to be this little. Well, maybe it is a stretch for us oldies, but this does look like a lot of fun.

Fragile

There are things these days that we never would have been able to have a few years ago. Everything is evolving so rapidly and it is important to make sure you are moving along with the times. Sometimes all it takes is to think outside of the box and rethink some of the items we already use.

At first glance, it seems a little weird that this woman is wearing a fully structured hat that is made out of bubble wrap, but actually, bubble wrap would be a great replacement for an umbrella if it was raining. Maybe she’s 10 years ahead of us with this wild invention?

When it comes to our religion, everyone has a different story to tell. We all live in such a diverse and culturally rich world full of different people and different religious practices. But there is one character that always seems to pop his head through the cracks…

He even makes debuts on the train! Just kidding, but this man looks an awful lot like Jesus. To be fair, he is probably dressing up as him for some costume party, but he should know that he looks very authentic. And yeah, Jesus is a little weird to see on the train, but hey, we are all on a different path.

If you take public transport to and from work, then you know the feeling of being tired on the way there and on the way back. No matter how hard we try, we can’t help but dose off, even if it is just for a little bit. The only problem with that is potentially missing your stop…

There are so many different and wonderful types of animals and creatures that exist in the world. Some of them have become known to be household pets, whilst others remain to be wild and untamed. Who knows, maybe there are even some species left that are yet to be discovered.

I don’t think I have ever seen a pink parrot before in my life, but I also think that isn’t a coincidence… It appears that this woman has dyed this parrot’s fur pink and given it many other possessions that happen to be in that color range. Don’t even get us started on why this particular parrot is riding in a baby pink stroller…

Just Like a Pillow

Everyone knows the feeling of coming home from a long day at work and just wanting to go to bed. The only thing is, you are on the train and can’t exactly fulfill that wish. But no matter how uncomfortable it may be, there are always ways in which you can make the ride home a little bit more comfortable.

We don’t know if this is actually effective, but this guy is using a Twix chocolate bar as a pillow. The worst part about this whole thing is that this probably doesn’t even help that much so now this delicious chocolate bar is going to be crushed to smithereens.

When it comes to fashion these days, everyone feels rather comfortable dressing how they please, without much scrutiny. This is definitely a good thing but sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming. You just have to remember that it is a good thing when people have the freedom to dress how they please.

As eccentric as this couple dress, you gotta love their commitment to the look. They are not leaving anything up to the imagination when it comes to their style. They want everyone to know that this is how they dress and how they want to be perceived.

A Quick Shave

Sometimes it can be really hard just keeping up with all the happenings of our lives that we forget to make time for ourselves and the things we need. It is really easy to forget just how important it is to keep up our own personal hygiene and whatnot. If we don’t look after ourselves, no one else will.

As intense as this photo is, we hear you and see you, sister. There is nothing worse than when you are running out of the house late and realize you haven’t shaved your legs, so you quickly grab a shaver and do it on your way to work. Look, it isn’t a pretty sight, but it gets the job done.

And apparently someone out there really, really, really like shrimps. So much so that he peeled this many shrimps on the train and then proceeded to eat them. What Does the Fox Say?

As we have very much uncovered in this compilation thus far, animals and public transport seem to be a match made in heaven. As long as your animal is safe, secure, and non-threatening to any of the passengers in any way, then it appears we have a recipe for public transport and pet success!

The only thing is, perhaps a fox shouldn’t be allowed on the train? Don’t get us wrong or anything, but aren’t foxes kind of dangerous? It does look like a dog, so it is easy to think how people might have missed this one. And who knows, perhaps it was trained like a dog and is actually super peaceful.

Rock ‘n Roll

There is nothing worse than when you are sitting on public transport and all you want to do is relax but all you can hear is someone playing their music very loudly. If you don’t have noise-canceling headphones then you are probably gonna have to say goodbye to your dream of relaxing.

Now, we don’t have any real way of telling whether or not these guys are playing their little boom box loudly or not, but if that wasn’t enough to scare the other passengers, we’re sure that their attire is enough to frighten even those that don’t scare easily.

Too Much Screen Time

Do you remember being told when you were younger that if you watched too much television then your pupils would turn square? Well, considering how much more we are on our phones, using our computers, and watching television on a daily basis now, we should probably be looking after our pupils.

Well, we’re afraid that this person has been watching, listening, and working so hard that her head has actually turned into a monitor. Just kidding, but that would make for a really cool television show… We would love to know if that thing is uncomfortable to carry around all day because it looks heavy.

Fish Feet

Sometimes there are fashion trends that we can’t make sense of, but very much maintain a presence in the world of fashion. Think along the lines of Crocs, or something similar to that. No one actually thinks they’re beautiful, but they have become part of the fashion world because they are simply a trend.

We sure hope that these fish slides don’t become the next best thing, because to be honest, they are kind of scary. It looks like someone is walking on the inside of two deboned fish. Why would anyone design these in the first place? First crocs, and now fish?

Everyone knows the feeling of sitting next to someone on public transport that is wearing something a little out of the ordinary. Just because there are specific fashion trends at particular moments, that doesn’t mean that everyone has to adhere to them in order to be considered normal.

But when you happen to sit next to someone that is wearing something questionable, it makes you wonder whether you should be sitting next to them or not. I guess wearing a leaf as some sort of head covering isn’t that weird… is it? But there is just something weird about this picture in general.

Well, this person seems to be given the fashion world a run for their money, because apparently, the silver look is officially back in. It looks like he was in some sort of accident involving freezing cold water and he was wrapped in this aluminum afterward, but your guess is as good as any.

Everyone knows the feeling of being so hungry, you just can’t wait to eat until you get home. If you’re lucky enough to have food already with you, then you have the opportunity to eat. Even though it is considered fine to eat anywhere, there are some places that are more appropriate than others…

Twinning

It makes a lot of sense when you see people sleeping on public transport considering that they are tired from the commute to and from work. Some people are lucky enough to find a comfortable sleeping position, but if you aren’t careful something might happen in the universe that may cause some sort of cosmic cloning thing.

Surely there is some sort of an explanation for this because there is no way that two people dressed the same would be sitting behind one another, asleep on public transport. That would be way too coincidental… The only other person in view doesn’t seem to think this is strange, so maybe it isn’t?

Not So Fresh Pizza

Is there anything better than buying a whole pizza, eating half, and then saving the rest for breakfast the next day? There is just nothing greater than getting bang for your buck with something as delicious, filling, and inexpensive as pizza.

Considering that Where’s Waldo has been around for so long, it has made it hard for people all around the world to feel comfortable wearing a red and white striped shirt. Whenever someone wears a shirt slightly similar to Waldo they probably get made fun of in one way or another.

Therefore it is hard to tell whether this guy decided to just wear a red and white striped shirt, or if he is in fact dressed up like Waldo. But considering that even has a cane, it would seem clear that he is actually dressed up like Waldo. It looks like the guy in front of him can’t contain his laughter also, so that kind of gives it away.

When it comes to the big, bad world of high fashion, not everyone can afford to be part of it. As much as we would all like to splurge and buy the many wonderful products that these luxurious brands offer, most of their items cost an arm and a leg, so we just have to make do.

This person obviously wanted a Gucci bag so badly, that they decided to take matters into their own hands, literally. Instead of buying a Gucci briefcase, they decided to write the words “Gucci” across the front of the bag instead. And to be honest, we kind of like this Guerilla fashion idea.

The Secret’s Out

When you are a kid, there are certain things that you are told in order to help you shape some sort of cherry-flavored, rainbow feeling, soft and light world view. And until you get a little older, you won’t know that many of the things you were told as a child are not actually true.

But it looks like this kid had to learn earlier than others that Santa Claus isn’t actually a big fat man with a white beard and long hair that lives in the North Pole, but rather he is every man looking for temporary work, around Christmas time. It’s ok little man, sometimes it’s better to find these things out earlier rather than later.

I think it is safe to say that no matter how many times you take public transport, you are bound to see something even more strange than the last time. Sometimes the strange things we see look so weird to us because we don’t have the context to fill them in with, but there has always got to be a story.
