The Afrobeats song of the year debate is undoubtedly between ‘Last Last’ by Burna Boy and ‘Calm Down’ by Rema.

While ‘Calm Down’ became the fastest Afrobeats song in history to hit a record 300 million views in only 10 months on YouTube, ‘Last Last’ got a Grammy nomination, becoming the only nominated Nigerian song in the 2022 Grammys
