Nigerian music star Burna Boy has won Best Africa Act award at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards.
On Sunday (November 13), Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, bags the Best Africa Act award at MTV Europe Music Awards for the year 2022.
It’s the second time Burna Boy has won in this category (his first win being 2019). This year, his co-nominees include Nigerians Terms and Ayra Starr, and Ghanaian Black Sherif.
Burna Boy now ties with fellow Nigerian artist Wizkid, who has also won 2 awards in the same category in 2016 and 2021 respectively.
